Mission Statement "Grace Cafe and Galleries is a retail establishment for contemporary art and antiques hosting year round events for collectors and the general public. The historic building is located in the heart of Dania Beach's Art and Antique District."
Cafe and Galleries
• You can enjoy a late morning snack or indulge yourself with the specialties prepared to pamper your palette till twilight. Casual dining has never felt so fun.
• While you relax, you can examine Purvis Young's passionate paintings on stage with the inventive genius of Suzette Urs Acrylurs' screens, or the contemporary stainless steel sculptures by Rick BeauLieu. You look further, and you will be enticed by the rich glow of Dave Taylor's luster glazed pottery , or the serene and cerebral bronze work of Claire Garrett, discover the intriguing and delightful drawings by "Doodle King" George Cheskes and be amazed by the outrageous mixed media sculptures by Felix Gonzalez.
• This menagerie is complimented with a collection of graceful original antique treasures from Europe, Asia and the Americas. Your trip will be complete after you visit the second layer of this stacked desert, upstairs which houses the stained glass studio of Dave Watts and discover a revolving display of the finest emerging artists of Florida's Gold Coast - all assembled for your collecting or viewing pleasure. Owner, Clare Vickery, invites you to also visit downtown Dania Beach for our Spring and Winter Art and Antiques Festival in June and January of each year. The show attracts from 5,000 to 10,000 people and features up to 200 local artists and antique dealers as well as antique auto and maritime masterpieces.
The Dania Beach Art and Antique District hosts these festivals and is in the process of completing a downtown public art plan which will begin installation in late 2007.
