Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic - Animal Rights Florida

ARFF offers free companion animal sterilization services to low-income households with our state-of-the-art mobile spay/neuter clinic. Our mobile clinic is designed to help combat Florida's companion animal overpopulation problem by reaching out to members of our community who might not otherwise be able to afford or have access to spay/neuter services. In 2007, ARFF will celebrate our 5,000th surgery!

ARFF's mobile clinic makes spaying and neutering easy — simply call us in advance to make arrangements, bring your animal to our clinic on the morning of your appointment, and pick your animal up later that afternoon. Animals who are spayed or neutered will also receive a complimentary rabies vaccination.

Our mobile clinic is currently stationed at Broward County Animal Services by the Fort Lauderdale Airport, but travels throughout Broward County. If you or someone you know would like to take advantage of our spay/neuter services, please contact our office at (954) 615-2733 to set up an appointment and get directions.

ARFF's mobile clinic needs your support!

Millions of healthy, adoptable dogs and cats are killed each year simply because there aren’t enough homes to care for them all. That’s why ARFF is committed to keeping the ARFF clinic on the road, and it’s the reason we’re asking for your support.

Become a Clinic sponsor! The cost to spay and neuter thousands of animals is high, but the cost to the animals if we don’t is even greater.

Please contact ARFF to make a donation to have an animal spayed or neutered. Every dollar you contribute will go directly toward spaying and neutering. Please consider making a monthly commitment to the animals:

  • $10 sterilizes 1 feral cat a month;
  • $40 neuters 1 dog a month;
  • $120 pays for 1 vet tech for a day;
  • $300 pays for 1 veterinarian for a day.
Introducing ARFF’s new cash crop for the animals…

Cash for Critters is a recycling program that pays non-profit organizations, like ARFF, for used ink jet cartridges, laser cartridges, and cell phones.
It makes fundraising easy.

Please get involved today and help ARFF help the animals!

How it works
You can help in two easy ways:
1. Collect used cartridges and cell phones from your home and/or workplace, or

2. Identify and set up business locations for cartridge drop off boxes. Local businesses are often eager to help non-profit organizations. This is an easy way they can help raise money without any cost to them. And all you have to do is contact office managers of local law firms, doctors offices, banks (or any type business that uses copiers and/or printers), and ask if you can set up a collection box. Then, occasionally stop by and pick up the cartridges!

Where is the money going?
100% of the income generated from this program will go to funding the ARFF mobile spay/neuter clinic.

How can I get involved?
Become a Cash for Critters team member and bring in your own cartridges or cell phones, pick up cartridges from offices, help pack up boxes of cartridges for shipment, or contact local businesses to participate in this easy fundraising program!

For more details on how to get involved, please contact Natalie Milshtein, ARFF’s Campaign Coordinator, at (954) 727-2733 ext. 241 or natalie@animalrightsflorida.org
