Frank Kaiser asks that you help and defend your fellow seniors.

With our politicians restricting the quality of America's health and welfare of our poor, elderly and stessed in poor health there are people trying to get access again for safe affordable care including medicines.
Please help Frank with this issue.
I admire this couple very much for their advocacy, humor and how to enjoy life to the fullest. You don't have to wait to be a senior to enjoy and learn from them. They now offer online booking for travel through their own travel pages. And Carolyn is a wonderful spirit that no matter where she is in the world the animals are kissing and hugging her! The favorite 222 sites change often. As you might know you can contribute ideas to them and perhaps be published.

As you probably know, the U.S. Senate cleared the way for prescription drug reimportation votes by breaking a filibuster Thursday by a 63-28 vote on Sen. Byron Dorgan's (D-ND) amendment to a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorization bill that would permit the legal reimportation of prescription drugs.
However, Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) has now introduced an amendment to the Dorgan amendment that would require the FDA to first certify that reimported drugs are safe. The Cochran amendment would kill reimportation, because the Bush Administration has refused to implement such certification in the past.

As you know, I seldom ask readers for anything.
But I'm asking you now to call both your senators Monday morning to demand a vote against the Cochran amendment and for a clean Dorgan amendment.

The Congressional Budget Office just estimated that the bill will save $50-billion in 10 years. If Cochran's amendment passes, the saving are zero. But all Big Pharma's money and clout is behind Cochran.

Your calls are the only way to fight back.
The vote is 4 pm Monday.
