Library of Congress offers free day pass at Mystic Seaport CT

Unable to find what I was looking for I have typed it out. As also I went to the Mystic Seaport and did not find the news.
Free Mystic Seaport Passes
The National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped has renewed its membership with Mystic Seaport's association of public libraries and is once again offering NLS patrons use of a free one-day seaport pass. The use of of a free one-day seaport pass. The seaport is a world-renowned, not-for-profit historical and educational institution occupying thirty-seven acres on the Mystic River, near New London, Connecticut. Highlights of the site include restored tall ships, tours by shipwrights and craftsmen, and a variety of exhibit galleries. The pass entitles two adults and three children or grandchildren under 18 to free admission to Mystic Seaport on the day of the week specified on the pass. the opportunity is available year-round. The pass will be sent by express delivery and will include a prepaid return envelope.

John Gardner Small Craft Workshop
Nearly 100 small boats will gather along the Mystic River June 2-3 for the 38th annual John Gardner Small Craft Workshop at Mystic Seaport. Participants share their boats - including peapods, whitehalls, sharpie skiffs, wood and canvas canoes, kayaks, performance rowing boats, dories, dinghies and tenders - with other enthusiasts during this two-day celebration. From Model to Masterpiece: The Works of Thomas Hoyne and Erik Ronnberg

Enter our Mallory Exhibit Hall and discover the newest exhibit at Mystic Seaport. From Model to Masterpiece: The Work of Thomas Hoyne and Erik Ronnberg, brings together the work of two artists - the maritime paintings of Thomas Hoyne and the ship models created for those paintings by Erik Ronnberg. Sea Music Festival

The 28th annual Sea Music Festival at Mystic Seaport is June 7-10. Musicians will perform aboard ships and on stage at this year's event, which features evening and themed concerts, workshops, children's performances and a Music of the Sea symposium. Sponsorship of the festival is provided by Mohegan Sun. For more information, click here.

Wet Paint at Mystic Seaport wet paint

Beginning June 18 through June 23, artists can be found on the Museum grounds at their easels capturing the sights of Mystic Seaport and the Mystic River in the tradition of plein air painters of the 19th and 20th century. During this time, Museum visitors can view the work of nearly 50 top maritime artists from the Maritime Gallery, as well as the Connecticut Plein Air Painters Society. Visitors are welcome to interact with the artists.
The opening reception of the exhibition will be held at the Maritime Gallery, Saturday, June 23, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. The exhibition will remain open through Labor Day Weekend. For more information, click
