Finding Free WiFi
Moving these caused me to loose live links to words. But you'll easily find what you are looking for. I was going to find the addresses to the libraries but I am tired 1:44 am and I have to get some rest. Now 2am...
But I am sure you'll find it on http://www.broward.org/library/

Are you going to be away from home? Wanna find out where you can connect with others using your computer? Try http://wifi.weblogsinc.com/ to find places in different cities. As WiFi is becoming more available. Try for free! Go to a local library and ask if they have a website for where you can log on for free. I'll have to go back to the one that gave me it. Who knows where little papers go? Eaten by that gremlin that hides things as soon as they enter here? So you know it is out there, you can find it! Like I googled and found these.
Free WiFi Locations, Places and Hotspots - free computer help to Rver's and travelers, we offer a free ... Bruegger's Bagels, Tucson AZ (E Broadway Blvd across from Park Place Mall Great signal. www.rverscomputerhelp.com/ http://www.wifiplaces.html/
(Not a complete list at all from what I see. It does have a very good warning! Evidently I have a few to share with them in my area! Ft. Lauderdale.)
Please tell us of free wifi locations that you have used, no matter where in the U.S. they are, send us the locations so we can post them for others to see. You can use this Simple Form or email us here if you have multiple locations to report. WiFi Locations - Our intent here is to provide locations for free wifi, if we list all wifi locations the only time you would benefit from that is if you happen to be a subscriber of that paticular service. There are so many different services available now, that you would have to subscribe to many in order to find lots of locations. With the free locations all you need do is check the list before you arrive at your destination to see if there are any free ones in the area. So please help us with the list, it will benefit all of us.
(WARNING) We feel that you should consider all wifi locations as unsecure and not do banking or send and receive emails that you know contain sensitive and personal information, such as phone numbers, home addresses and of course the obvious, credit card numbers, etc. Also if you connect to any of the locations listed, you do so at your own risk.
Some of these locations might want you to ask permission before connecting to their network. We will be adding more, so check back.
( I am finding that a lot of places are getting wifi from other business' that have not firewalled their service. One person was confused that he was getting a company he didn't pay for. Another is like the Dunkin Donuts I go to which does not pay for it, but uses someone else's. We don't mind. We find out when we see laptops free of cards from servers. And join in! Oh how do you do that? Really! Yes! That easy. :-) Other places like Miller (Davie) Ale House says they are wifi free but you need a server card to be able to access it.)
UPDATE: There is now an antenna made just for RV's that will allow you to park much further from the wifi places and still get a good signal, you can read about it here, Wave RV (lost link, but it is on their site).
Andy Budd::Blogography: Free WiFi ( I totally agree with this person! Why pay now for it? ) get is places that have free wired connections but expect you to pay for WiFi. A case in point. The other place I think WiFi should be free is in www.andybudd.com/archives/2006/05/free_wifi/index.php
