Summer Solstice Sunset Party - Friday June 15, 6:30 - 11 p.m.

Mystic Seaport is spicing up the arrival of summer with a members' night of music, dancing, food and fun. It's our way of saying thank you to you!

Begin the evening with a Tex-Mex style barbeque. Enjoy baby back ribs, grilled chicken, pulled pork, sides and watermelon. Don't forget to check out the bar for some Mystic Seaport-inspired cocktails, like a Morgan Martini, Conrad Cosmopolitan, and Roann Rum Runner.

Take advantage of a unique viewing of one of our Native American small craft (taken our of our behind-the-scenes research collection just for the event!) - and stop by the exhibit of the Analuisa, a Cuban refugee boat and get a feel for the plight of refugees - still happening in today's coastal waters.

Next, relax to the music of Joseph FireCrow a Grammy-nominated flutist. Dressed in full Native American regalia, he will perform from the bow of the Charles W. Morgan with the sun setting behind him (cool huh?). santa mamba

Top off your evening by dancing into the Mystic night! You won't want to miss out on the energetic vibes of our headline performer Santa Mamba. A hugely popular regional band whose audience grows with every show, Santa Mamba offers a dazzling fusion of salsa, rock, jazz and funk. Entrance is free for members wishing to attend just the entertainment ($34 for non members - includes a one year individual membership!). Tickets for members for both the entertainment and barbeque are $35 ($64 for non members - includes a one year individual membership!).
