If you are clear that TUT is not in the USA and you want to see a lot of nice things, then go to the exhibit.
Letter to the MOA (Museum of Art in FLL)
Last year you said the boy king would be the last time ever in the USA. I told every one how fantastic that was! As I had seen him in 76 at the Met in NYC. It would be the last time ever for him to leave Egypt. Well was I and my friends disappointed to say the least, if I do admit, even angry. I have been enthusiastic about Ancient Egypt since I can remember. The show to me was bait and switch. I know you spent millions on fixing the museum, and the agreement was that the USA would send a lot of financial support to Egypt for their museum. If you had been honest in the beginning I would have made a fair choice if I wanted to invest in seeing it! And you couldn't have his 'coffin' as I will say, as I know it is in a private collection. But TUT is in a museum in Egypt! Never left! I began saying if people wanted to see lots of artifacts, that was fine. And then I found you changed it to be an adventure. And now you say of course he is not here! I can see a lot of what you had elsewhere and online! So I was wanting to tell you and Dr Hawass that you did an injustice to the American Public. And another friend said he expected to see the golden mask, which you don't have. To see a box with pictures is not what I would want to spend my hard to come by money. I even know some one who was a guide for the exhibit and she didn't say otherwise! I don't think what you did was fair and I would not likely to believe you next time you advertised some thing. As I have been to the MOA for many things. Even the Popal Visit. That is okay he was not there. I didn't expect him. Get my point? You said his things were there. That is an "of course". I would have spent my limited income on seeing the play on before Dorothy arrived to munchin land! "Wicked" Instead. I have a limited income and this hurt. Very, Very disappointed! Feel free to try to fix this with we never said it! I am not a dangerous person telling you I am angry and disappointed, but even though I told my friends about your new lecture of Hawass I will not spend $77 on a liar and a cheat! Thank you very much for this opportunity to express my first amendment. Freedom of speech! Sincerely M. @[smiley: Prisoner: [10/10_1_112]]

To see the revised official site that originates from LA CA go to: http://kingtut.org/
The store is nice: http://kingtut.org/s2.htm http://store.kingtut.org/artexhibit/default.asp?s_id=0&
moafl didn't have things offered online other than a photo of the official book that goes with the exhibit. And I spent $18 for my t-shirt to find it here for $10
The ticket and $81 after enjoying the shop. I was told the store in the front didn't have the same things as the one after the show, so I had to get special permission to get my husband so I could use his c/c. As I didn't anticipate what I would spend in cash.
And as far as my advise to buying the official tour. Although I am a long time fan of
I was disappointed in the thoughness of the audio for the exhibit. Paying $7 for a lot not to be mentioned.
I like the official site for National Geographic, though that too has been changed.

I was not able to get this when it was only $28! Still a good price when you know in the museum it is $55!
