Someone had lots of pictures in 2001 Web.Org.UK - Summer Solstice 2001 at Stonehenge

Arrived on site (51° 10.689' N, 1° 49.514' W) at 03:30 BST June 21st. Sunrise at 04:55 BST. Left at 06:00 BST. Weather - clear, warm night with some light cloud at dawn. Mars visible, setting, at perigee. Venus visible, rising. Today is New Moon, with a total solar eclipse visible across Africa. Atmosphere - excellent, no trouble. More people than last year (possibly 10000) including drummers, pipers, fire eaters and jugglers.

Cool pics of Stonehenge Summer and Winter Solstice - Glastonbury festival ... New-age.co.uk is not responsible for the content of any other sites listed. ...
http://www.new-age.co.uk/ Lots here. Said 30, attended last year. Encourages you to send your pictures. Looks like there was a huddle by the stones and more space to breathe a little further from them.
To Summer
O thou who passest thro' our valleys in
Thy strength, curb thy fierce steeds, allay the heat
That flames from their large nostrils! thou, O Summer,
Oft pitched'st here thy goldent tent, and oft
Beneath our oaks hast slept, while we beheld
With joy thy ruddy limbs and flourishing hair.
Beneath our thickest shades we oft have heard
Thy voice, when noon upon his fervid car
Rode o'er the deep of heaven; beside our springs
Sit down, and in our mossy valleys, on
Some bank beside a river clear, throw thy
Silk draperies off, and rush into the stream:
Our valleys love the Summer in his pride.
Our bards are fam'd who strike the silver wire:
Our youth are bolder than the southern swains:
Our maidens fairer in the sprightly dance:
We lack not songs, nor instruments of joy,
Nor echoes sweet, nor waters clear as heaven,
Nor laurel wreaths against the sultry heat.

A Gia Festival in NY this year, and 2008 in Salvador da Bahia, the City of Women in 2008.
This year Kris will birth the Gaia Festival West Coast and is planning a sacred pilgrimage to Salvador da Bahia, the City of Women in 2008. www.gaiafestival.com/about.html
About the Gaia Festival Creatrixes Stephanie Hamberger (East Coast Creatrix)
Stephanie is the organizer of the first annual Gaia Festival. She worked as a photojournalist for years, which eventually led her onto her present path as the co-founder of Soul Pilgrim (www.soul-pilgrim.com) - an adventure that brings sacred travel, workshops, retreats and events to folks who want to honor and heal the land.
Of both Mohawk and a mélange of European descent, she identifies with both the traditional Native American and Old European expressions of spirit, but mostly hears and honors the wordless ancient call and “does what the land tells her to do”. She makes her home in the woods and hills of Colden, NY with her husband, two cats and two rabbits and is excited to be a small part of something much bigger than all of us.
Stephanie has shared the songs, art and movement of our ancestors with travelers during her sacred pilgrimages to Glastonbury, Cornwall and Bath, England 2001-2005 for Lammas celebrations.
Later this year, Stephanie will debut the Enchanted Mountain Goddess Conference to be held August 31-September 3, 2007 in Allegany State Park, Town of Red House, New York.
Stephanie is currently authoring a book about the sacred traditions of bread baking all over the world.
Her Schedule has an impressive painting with an Egyptian woman
